The Training scheme

The training would involve practical training in any area of hotel operation such as food & beverage service, food & beverage production, housekeeping and front office functions.

In addition operations trainees have the option to be exposed to all the four departments of hotel operations.

Benefits

On duty meals will be provided and a stipend per month will be paid to all hotel trainees.

An Elgin Training Certificate will be awarded to trainees who complete their training tenure with Elgin Hotels successfully.

Elgin Hotels will also consider the recruitment of trainees into the hotel chain in suitable positions after the successful completion of training depending on how well a trainee performs.

Candidate Profile

The candidate should be smart and outgoing and have a pleasing personality as well as a positive attitude and willingness to learn. He /she should have complete fluency in English, good oral and written communication skills.

Either one of the following basic qualifications is a requirement:

•  The candidate should be a graduate from a reputed college in any field of education.

•  The candidate should have passed class XII with a School Leaving Certificate and have a Diploma in Hotel Management from a recognized Institute or should be studying in such an institute.
