A trip to Ravangla is however, incomplete without visiting the Ralang Monastery, a Buddhist monastery of the Kagyu school of Tibetan Buddhism, located around six kilometres from the town. Besides also make sure to visit the Bonn Monastery, old yet historical market of Kewzing, along with mysterious small caves.

By Air: Nearest and major airport from Ravangla is Bagdogra Airport (IXB) nearly 135 km away and is a 4 hours drive from Ravangla via Jorethang
By Rail: The nearest and major railway station is New Jalpaiguri (NJP) which is nearly 110 kilometres away and is a 4 ½ hours drive.
Road: Sikkim is well connected with the rest of the destinations of the region. Gangtok is nearly 65 km away from Ravangla. Approximately 70 km from Kalimpong and 90 km from Darjeeling, Ravangla is ideally located in West Sikkim and close to Pelling (55 Kilometres), 90 km from Yuksom and nearly 40 km from Namchi.
