The Elgin Kintore Arms is a 150 year-old Hotel representing a sophisticated example of classic Victorian Architecture. This heritage hotel lies on the spine of ruined castles, a majestic ocean, the glorious river Don and its tributary Ury. This heritage hotel was built around 1855 by a Scottish architect William Ramage. He was an active architect that shaped Aberdeen in mid 19th century. The original design included 27 pristine guest rooms, an old-fashioned fire place, an attic and a Roman Doric Porch.
