This is the Tsomgo Lake or mostly known as Changu Lake, tourists’ most favourite destination that encapsulates you with glacial mountains, beautiful valleys and the pristine blue lake.  

Sikkim is not just a simple hill station, it has the Himalayan zoological park, numerous viewpoints , calming monasteries , a ropeway and a Flower Exhibition centre. And if you’re in for a real treat of flowers, there is an orchid farm that one can stay at called the Hidden Forest Retreat.   

Its capital city Sikkim is the most visited place in the state that welcomes people to its exquisite attractions of Kanchenjunga’s towering snowclad peak, Banjhakri Falls and Energy Park, Kyongnosla Waterfall and Enchey Monastery.

The Elgin NOR-KHILL, Gangtok is a luxurious resort and a favorite for getaways in the heart of Gangtok that have welcomed dignitaries from Royals, Actors and renown politicians.  

The region has a number of popular passes, lakes and stretches like the Nathula Pass, Gurudongmar Lake, Khecheopalri Lake, Goecha La that make up the entire terrain extremely welcoming. It is an extremely beautiful region to see an array of thick green hikes along with freezing cold treks.  

A little away from the main city, Pelling is another most visited place at the foothills of Kanchenjunga. This small town offers a bewildering view of the Kanchenjunga during sunrise from the ridge. Suggested are the must visit Rabdentse Palace Ruins, Kanchenjunga Waterfall, Rimbi Waterfall, Changey Waterfall, Singshore Bridge, Sewaro Rock Garden

This is the bustling Gangtok MG Road which is the most happening place in the state. Here, one can find a range of scrumptious traditional  eateries, shops and hotels lined up on both sides of the road. 

The best time to visit this pristine place is either March and May or October and mid-December due to its pleasant weather during these months. There are numerous places in the region that offer the ultimate soul satisfaction experience, so don’t forget to enjoy every minute of the place with not only just travel, but with souvenir shopping, food and praying. A place that offers the beauty of multiethnicity, warmth and chills making it a remarkable place.
